This book is aboute how penguins live.
Penguin is a bird but it cannot fly. The most of penguin live in Antarctica. But there are also some penguins that live in island in grassy and rocky. Penguin has thick bodies. They have white feathers front of their tummies. And they have black feathers back on their bodies and head. Penguins have very much feathers. When they born, but after four months they lost there feathers and that call Moulting. There are many different types of penguin for example, there is a penguin named Yellow-eyed. It lives in the South Island of New Zealand and Nearby islands. When a penguin travel long and then can not go more so usully they slide with there tummies over the ice.
Eat And Hunting:
Penguins eat food from the sea. They eat fish, squid, krill and shrimps.When the chicks want to eat the mother and father share to feeding the chicks. When they are feeding they eat the food and then put the food in the checks mouth. Penguins enemies is whales, leopard seal and sea bird. They attack most chicks and the eggs.
Emperor Penguins:
In the penguin life they have a emperor.The emperor is largets penguin it can live in twenty years old. But a normal penguin is big as five years old. The mother emperor lays her eggs at start of the winter. The father emperor keep the eggs warm until the eggs hatch. When the emperor adult will take care to their chicks they make a deep hole then the checks go on it and the adult stay there around the hole to protekt them.
I did't know that penguins have feather on there bodies.I thought the penguins where only skin layer over them, but it was not so. I like this bok very much, because I learned a lot about penguins. And I leared me things I did't know before. I thought that nothing was bad.
